Our Dreaming
Our dreaming begun with Uncle Lewis Burns, our purpose when Talbragar Wiradjuri Aboriginal Corporation (TWAC) was incorporated in 2016, was to create a cultural learning and sharing space. Our founding members are Uncle Lewis Burns, Aunty Pam Wells and Arna Kerklaan . A traditional dance group was born and begun performing for Dubbo and surrounds soon after educating through song, dance, story telling and movement. Our cultural leaders Uncle Lewis Burns and Aunty Di McNaboe have educated, shared and developed our members in the richness of our culture and responsibilities of custodianship.
Over time TWAC have grown as a grass roots Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation who are committed to seeing our community thrive. Beyond our cultural protocols of Welcome to Country and our performers we now provide cultural immersion services in many forms. Head over to our services page to see what we can do for you.

Caring for Country
We are a group of local Traditional Owners, who love to practice culture through many forms of expression such as dance, language and song.
We believe education is the key to ensuring our culture and connection remains strong.
